Cafe Palm on lower Main Street Sarasota now has Sushi

Another delightful addition to Main Street dining is the addition of a Sushi Master at Cafe Palm.
Chef Shane has developed an innovative menu with a slight Korean slant to things.
The Dynamite Roll, for example, contains Korean chili paste with Japanese schimi pepper and a traditional chili paste. Not too spicy.
My favorite is the Mexican roll with a touch of the chili paste.
She likes the (salmon) Omega Roll and Volcano Roll with crab.
Prices are modest. Sushi authentic.

Patty's On Main

The latest addition to Sarasota's dining scene is Patty's On Main located in Kress International Plaza - the former home of Patrick's.
The new owners have totally redone the interior reflecting a hip urban feel.
The menu reflects the same urban hip - they offer a range of hamburgers from beef to lamb to ahi tuna.
More interesting is the rack of lamb and the various daily specials which range from American comfort to Bistro Continental.
Patty's prices are competetive.
Happy Hour is the longest in town from 3:30 to 7:00 PM with plenty of drink specials.
Friday and Saturday Late Night Dining is better than anything in town.
Give them a try:
